Of all the acting performances in the past hundred years, which performance was so polarizing people legit didn’t know the actor performing?

For me it was Gary Oldman as Sirius Black, for a long time I don’t know why I legit just didn’t know it was him. I’m sure there is one extraordinary performance out there that people loved but legit didn’t know the actor performing.

Charlize Theron I’m Monster is another one you’d never think that was actually her. Truly a crazy immersive performance where you think it’s actually a different person not a main stream movie star diving so deep into a role no one knows them anymore.
