Darkest moment in a kids movie?

What is the darkest moment or scene in a kids movie? In ParaNorman the plot is about a witch from centuries ago reawakening and bringing back the dead in revenge for being executed, and Norman having to stop her destroying the town. However, in the third act a massive twist is revealed about the witch: She’s just a child. In a flashback scene we find out she is just a child no older than Norman who was sentenced to hang by the town elders for witchcraft, and in a rage she cursed the elders who are subsequently revealed to have been the zombies terrorising the town the whole movie. What are other shockingly dark moments in kids movies?
