I grew up thinking The Brady Bunch Movie was real and not a parody of the show

I thought it came out in the 70s and was directly related to the show... I was born in the 90s so it just seemed like it was legitimately part of the lore and, as a kid, you never quite recognize actors. Maybe I'm not alone... I do remember thinking it was so much better than the other episodes, though.
